GOLF, Ill. – April 18, 2017 … Chicagoland golf fans have an opportunity to experience the excitement of the 2017 BMW Championship from a reserved seat on the 18th green at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois.

For the first time ever, patrons are being offered the opportunity to purchase their own seat in a reserved section of grandstand behind the finishing hole at Conway Farms, the Western Golf Association has announced.

Only 120 Greenside tickets are being sold for each round of the event, which is set for Sept. 12-17. Thursday Greenside tickets may be purchased for $175. Reserved seating for Friday-Sunday is being offered for $225. Supplies are limited, so those interested are encouraged to act quickly.

“Greenside tickets offer our patrons an opportunity to experience the action, drama and excitement of the BMW Championship with a guaranteed seat on the final hole,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA Senior Vice President of Tournaments. “Whether they choose to follow their favorite players around the golf course for several holes or interact with the world-class attractions at the BMW Experience, patrons will have the peace of mind of knowing their greenside seat is waiting for them.”

The BMW Championship is the penultimate event in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs, with the top 70 PGA TOUR players competing for an $8.75 million purse, including $1.575 million for the winner. Former champions include Jason Day, Zach Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson and Tiger Woods.

Green Coat Club Option

The Green Coat Club, an upscale hospitality chalet that debuted at the 2015 BMW Championship at Conway Farms, will return to the event this year.

Situated between the 11th and 18th tees, the Green Coat Club pairs a first-class, executive level experience with some of the event’s most spectacular views of golf.

Green Coat Club guests will enjoy premium food and beverage selections presented by the iconic Gibsons Restaurant Group. Whether it’s a freshly made morning omelet, Gibsons famous filet sliders or an indulgence at the dessert station featuring seasonal shortcake and key lime pie, guests will find something for all tastes.

“We’re excited about the return of the Green Coat Club, which was designed to serve guests who want to enjoy watching the world’s best golfers in a premier hospitality environment,” Pellegrino said. “Our focus will be on providing an optimum entertainment experience from the time guests arrive at the tournament, to when they leave the course at the end of the day.”

Credentials for the Green Coat Club may be purchased for $775 per day. For more information, contact the BMW Championship sales staff at 1-847-724-4600.

All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which awards full tuition and housing college scholarships to deserving caddies from modest means. Since 2007, the event has contributed more than $24.4 million to the Evans Scholars Foundation.
