GOLF, IL – When patrons arrive at Medinah Country Club for the 2019 BMW Championship Aug. 13-18, they will experience the drama, action and excitement of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs in a fun-filled, fan-friendly environment. An interactive BMW Fan Challenge Powered by Topgolf CRUSH, a Bavarian-themed Biergarten and a free junior clinic are among the many features patrons can look forward to during the tournament.

“We’re planning a number of exciting activities for this year’s BMW Championship that we’re confident fans will find enjoyable,” said Vince Pellegrino, Western Golf Association Senior Vice President of Tournaments. “We’re committed to providing patrons with an unforgettable experience, and this year may mark our most exciting tournament yet for spectators.”

BMW Fan Challenge Powered by Topgolf CRUSH

Patrons can test their skills against the best golfers on TOUR at the BMW Fan Challenge, located across from the driving range. Powered by Topgolf CRUSH, every fan at the BMW Championship will have the opportunity to participate in a 5-ball challenge by hitting balls at designated targets using Toptracer ball-tracking technology.

Patrons will try to beat the scores of PGA TOUR players and have the opportunity for daily prizes. The highest score of the week will win a trip to the BMW Performance Center in Thermal, California, where they’ll experience power, speed and adrenaline through the BMW M School program.

In addition, the most important shot of the day awaits at the BMW Hole-in-One Challenge, also located at the BMW Fan Challenge. The first fan to record an ace will win a two-year lease on the all-new BMW 3 Series.

To celebrate BMW’s German roots, the 2019 BMW Championship will feature a Bavarian-themed Biergarten located between the 1st tee and 18th green. The Biergarten offers all patrons a place to relax and experience the BMW Championship without missing any of the action. The space features natural shade, picnic tables, authentic German beer and pretzels. With a large video board showing live tournament coverage, spectators can take a break and enjoy a taste of Germany while enjoying the competition of the BMW Championship.

Also located in the Biergarten, visit the BMW Putting Challenge to help support the Evans Scholars Foundation.
