WILMINGTON, Del. – Tickets and special holiday packages for the 2022 BMW Championship on the South Course at Wilmington Country Club are now available. Fans should visit bmwchampionship.com to secure their tickets to the 2022 BMW Championship, the penultimate event in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs, to be held August 16-21, 2022.

Excitement surrounding the PGA TOUR’s first appearance in Delaware has resulted in enthusiastic volunteer registration, and tickets are expected to sell quickly. In addition to a special holiday ticket package, Grounds, upgraded Trophy Club, 1901 Club and Green Coat Club tickets are currently available in limited quantities. A select number of corporate hospitality options are also available.

“Our most flexible ticket option is Any-Day Grounds tickets, and they will not be available after the end of December,” said Vince Pellegrino, Western Golf Association Senior Vice President of Tournaments. “There’s a tremendous amount of excitement for our first visit to Delaware, and we recommend that anyone planning to attend the 2022 BMW Championship purchase their tickets early.”

All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation and its mission of awarding full tuition and housing college scholarships to deserving youth caddies. Since 2007, the event has raised more than $40 million for caddie scholarships.

Holiday Ticket Packages

Exclusive holiday ticket packages for the 2022 BMW Championship are available now through Dec. 31, 2021.  For this limited time only, Any-Day Grounds tickets are $85 and are valid for any one championship round, Thursday through Sunday. Tickets for the 1901 Club offer access to an all-inclusive venue on the ninth green with an exclusive viewing area for the ninth green, 10th tee and driving range. For $385 per ticket, fans will have access to premium amenities including unlimited food, beer, wine and soft drinks; stadium seating just feet from the players; and one general lot parking pass for every two tickets purchased. Additionally, ticket holders will have access to the pool patio featuring a large video screen, lounge seating and bar service. All patrons, including children, must have a ticket to access the venue.

Green Coat Club

Tickets are also available for the Green Coat Club, an all-inclusive hospitality venue between the 12th green and 13th tee. Volunteer Opportunities

The 2,000 volunteer positions planned for the 2022 BMW Championship already have been filled, marking one of the most successful volunteer recruitment drives in the event’s history. While there are no positions currently available, the WGA is continuing to accept applications for a volunteer waitlist. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to working at least three shifts during tournament week. Shifts range from 4-6 hours in length, depending on assignment.

To sign up for the waitlist or view descriptions of the volunteer committees, visit bmwchampionship.com/2022volunteers.

The BMW Championship features the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings as they compete for the J.K. Wadley Trophy and a spot in the season-ending TOUR Championship. Past champions include Patrick Cantlay, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Keegan Bradley, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Zach Johnson, Justin Rose and Tiger Woods.

The 2022 event will mark the first time the BMW Championship has been held in Delaware and the third time since 2018 that the event has been held on the East Coast. Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland, hosted the 2021 BMW Championship, while Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, hosted the 2018 event.

BMW, in partnership with the PGA TOUR and the WGA, recently announced a five-year extension for BMW to remain the title sponsor of the BMW Championship through 2027. Also announced was the return of the BMW Championship to the Chicago area in 2023 at Olympia Fields Country Club, which hosted the event in 2020.

The health and safety of everyone involved with the BMW Championship remains our No. 1 priority. The championship and the PGA TOUR have an extensive set of COVID-19 health and safety measures implemented in conjunction with CDC guidelines to promote a safe environment and quality experience on the golf course. Read the PGA TOUR guide to fan safety.

Guidelines are subject to review and updated based on prevailing health conditions at the time of the championship. All tickets purchased from the BMW Championship or Ticketmaster will be given the opportunity for refunds if the championship is canceled, postponed or does not include fans specifically due to a pandemic (including COVID-19) or other public health-related reasons.
