CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — Golf fans will experience the excitement of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs in a fun-filled, fan-friendly environment as the 2024 BMW Championship comes to Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado.

This week marks the PGA TOUR’s first stop in Colorado since the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club.

“We’re so excited to be back in Colorado and can't wait for the Denver-area fans to experience the excitement of this major playoff event,” said Vince Pellegrino, Western Golf Association’s Senior Vice President of Tournaments. “With an engaging lineup of activities and fan enhancements across the grounds, guests of all ages will have a first-class experience at the BMW Championship.” 

The Star-Studded Field
The top 50 players in the PGA TOUR FedExCup standings will compete to win the historic J.K. Wadley Trophy and earn one of 30 spots in the season-ending TOUR Championship. Headlining the star-studded field are major champions Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele. 

Top winners on the PGA TOUR – Denver native Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Ludvig Åberg and Collin Morikawa – are also set to play, as well as past BMW Championship winners Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, Jason Day, Viktor Hovland and 2025 Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. 

Parking and Transportation
There is no public/general parking available in the immediate vicinity of Castle Pines Golf Club. Spectators will park in off-site lots and take a short shuttle to the golf course. Parking must be purchased in advance and will not be solid on site at lots. 

All general spectator parking purchased during championship week is will-call only.

As an alternative to parking and shuttling to the championship, spectators can be dropped off and walk into the tournament grounds. All drop-offs and pick-ups will take place at Gate 1 (482 W Happy Canyon Rd., Castle Rock, Colorado). All rideshare drivers must approach via eastbound Happy Canyon Road. Drop-offs and pick-ups are not allowed near the club’s front gate or nearby residential areas.

Schedule and Tickets
Tee times for the Gardner Heidrick Pro-Am on Wednesday, Aug. 21, begin at 7:30 a.m., with gates opening at 7 a.m. Gates open at 7 a.m. Thursday and Friday, with tee times beginning at 7:25 a.m. Gates open at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with tee times beginning at 7:25 a.m. on the weekend.

Active duty, retirees, active reserve and veterans of any military branch are offered a complimentary ticket on each day of the BMW Championship. Spectator Experience
Castle Pines Golf Club can be a challenging walk – and spectators are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear – but fans of all ages will find it easy to enjoy activations and experiences throughout the grounds.

  • The BMW Experience: Located near the picturesque 11th green, the BMW Experience lets fans test their short game in the BMW Putting Challenge and take a ride in the 100% electric BMW i5 course shuttle vehicle. Fans of the game and BMW can get an up-close look at some of BMW's latest high-performance vehicles , including the plug-in hybrid-electric BMW X5 xDrive50e and the all-new performance-oriented BMW X3 M50.

  • Specialty Food and Drink: On-site concessions will have a local flavor, bringing in beloved Denver-area institutions to serve staples fans won't find at any other championship. Dos Gringos, Farm to Truck, the Simply Pizza Truck and Tom's Coffee will be located throughout the grounds. Fans should also be on the lookout for the BMW Championship's signature drinks and a limited-edition beer brewed specifically for the tournament. The famed Castle Pines milkshakes, a favorite of Jack Nicklaus, will be available as well.

  • Opening Ceremony: A week-long celebration of America’s armed forces will include an opening ceremony on the first tee at 8:25 a.m. MT on Thursday, with singer and songwriter Amanda Hawkins performing the national anthem and a flyover by four F-16 fighter jets from the Colorado Air National Guard near the start of the first round.

  • Gardner Heidrick Pro-Am: On Wednesday, watch the TOUR professionals and amateurs tee off, including Denver sports icons John Elway, Peyton Manning and Gabe Landeskog. The event is the biggest one-day fundraiser for the Evans Scholars Foundation, which sends youth caddies to college on full housing and tuition scholarships. All proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the ESF; since 2007, BMW has contributed more than $50 million to help send deserving caddies to college.

  • The BMW Championship Junior Golf Clinic: A clinic featuring appearances by PGA TOUR players and Colorado Rockies mascot Dinger, will take place at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Youth aged 16 and under are encouraged to attend the free event on The Schneids putting green. Juniors will receive free admission all week when accompanied by an adult, and a few lucky young fans will get their tickets upgraded to front-row seats on the first tee. A kids-only autograph zone will be located by the first tee and practice area.

  • The BMW Championship Mural: Iconic Denver artist Pat Milbery will paint a mural encapsulating the beauty of Castle Pines Golf Club and the surrounding Rocky Mountains in his vivid street art style near the BMW Experience. Milbery painted the mural live on Tuesday and fans can enjoy the artwork all week.

  • BMW Owners’ Pavilion: A BMW vehicle key fob or Digital Key in the My BMW smartphone app will unlock exclusive hospitality benefits at the BMW Championship, beginning with premium parking options upon arrival to Castle Pines Golf Club. BMW Owners and a guest will also receive access to the BMW Owners’ Pavilion with unparalleled views of the featured par-3 16th Hole and 15th green.
